This management oriented trade association was founded in 1917, and it offers members a complete array of services, expertise and information having to do with the advertising agency business. The American Association of Advertising Agencies membership produces about 80% of total advertising volume placed by agencies in the United States. Because the 4As is a trade association, the organization is bound and supported by its own constitution and set of by-laws, its mission statement, and standards of practice.
