I've worked at a local grocery store and so far everything is easy, but my only problem is that I'm not sure if it's a pound or a half scale. It may be fair, but don't make rude comments, just help.
If you put meat and cheese on top, this scale can be an ounce and then a pound. 4 ounces is 1/4 pound. 8 ounces equals 1/2 pound. 16 ounces equals one pound. Most people ask for a tzu number.
If you're in pound: ounce mode, 0lb 8oz is exactly what you're looking for. Find 0.5 pounds if you are in decimal pound mode.
