Why are they sometimes called whispering eyes?

Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either. I think they just put it in this script. I haven't heard anywhere else. That should be funny.

I looked up and said that whispered eyes were used for the first time in a movie as a reference model. I've never heard of this movie, so I don't know what it is.
